My DIY Headphones stand

Hello,as you all know i have recieved my new headphones recently and i didn't want them to lay around my desk and get scratched, and i looked for an elegant solution, then i found this thread on Hi-Fi forum about DIY Headphone stands,i found some really nice ideas there and i thought i'll give it a try..
It's not done yet,i still need to polish it a bit and paint it,but here it is so you get the idea..
As you can see the headphones fit perfectly on it
Also i have tried to listen to music with my headphones on my iPhone, and the bass was a bit louder,so i will probably get a soundcard when i'll have money for it.

  37. Really superb piece of craftsmanship : ) What kind of wood is it? Looks neat, I'd definitely get myself one of these (or make one just like you did) if I had some headphones - especially bigger ones. Right now I'm happy with my in ear phones and 2.0 speaker setup. I don't like having stuff on my ears, especially at home.
