Hello,as you all know i have recieved my new headphones recently and i didn't want them to lay around my desk and get scratched, and i looked for an elegant solution, then i found this thread on Hi-Fi forum about DIY Headphone stands,i found some really nice ideas there and i thought i'll give it a try..
It's not done yet,i still need to polish it a bit and paint it,but here it is so you get the idea..
As you can see the headphones fit perfectly on it
Also i have tried to listen to music with my headphones on my iPhone, and the bass was a bit louder,so i will probably get a soundcard when i'll have money for it.
Cool idea, want the same for my headphones, they are expensive and I dont want them to lay around.
ReplyDeleteMaking any more?

ReplyDeleteThat actualy might be a good idea, there is allmost none of these on ebay, and most of them cost about 50$-150$.. though i'm not sure about the price and if i could make so many..

ReplyDeleteNice work. Definitely gonna try my hand at making that!
ReplyDeletethat actually looks really nice. and a store would probably make an ugly headphone set and try to charge you 40 bucks for it
ReplyDeleteLooks cool, wish I had a thing for making things from wood.
ReplyDeletelike the design simple but functional
ReplyDeleteThat's so cool. I may try to make one sometime.

Well it beats slapping them on the floor like me!
ReplyDeleteWow, a simple yet elegant solution. Good design. You have to post pics of the finished product!
ReplyDeletenice work
ReplyDeleteWow really like this stand, I'm thinking about making one in a nice dark wood, you can usually get some cheap scraps at the hardware store :D
ReplyDeleteNice touch on the curve! Followed!
ReplyDeleteVery cool, well done!
ReplyDeleteMake me one! My AKG's need a home
ReplyDeleteNice one! I could use one to keep my earbuds untangled though!
ReplyDeleteReally superb piece of craftsmanship : ) What kind of wood is it? Looks neat, I'd definitely get myself one of these (or make one just like you did) if I had some headphones - especially bigger ones. Right now I'm happy with my in ear phones and 2.0 speaker setup. I don't like having stuff on my ears, especially at home.
ReplyDeletereally nice, I will build one for my self.
ReplyDeletenice one mate, people would appreciate their stuff much more if they make them themselves. I'll follow your blog.
ReplyDeleteReally informative, I am probably going to do one myself. Thanks
