I have recieved my headphones

I ordered my new headphones about a week ago,and i finnaly got them
The audio technica ATH-A700

My first impression is:
Great sound,good mids and i get a pretty good soundstage with thoes,
pretty comfortable and lightweight to its size.
Though the headphones are huge,and i'm a bit dissapointed of the bass on thoes.
overall im pretty satisfied with my purchase.
Also i made a stand for thoes headphones which i will post later .

    I`m looking for headphones with about 20-30 dB NRR and with a good sound (I need it for drumming), would you suggest those?

    why dissapointed of the bass? too weak?

    I wouldn't say its weak,but i got the impression that thoes headphones have a strong bass from reviews of people online..

    No,and i think the reason is because im using my onboard sound card,since i have no money for a sound card or an amp.

    Because this may just depend on source.
    My headphones connected to PC sounds worse than connected to iP

    I heard alot of similar stories,
    i'll try connecting them to another source tommorow,i'll probably post my DIY Stand tommorow,i'll include the results.

    Maybe you're just a bit bass-focused. Most of the speakers today have much too heavy basses and especially the mids are pretty boring. The design looks nice.

    Oh man, nice choice. I can't recommend Audio Technica any more than I do. I got the ATH-M50's about 2 weeks ago and I love them so much. Congrats!

    The M50's were recommended alot to me,though i really wanted headphones that cover the whole ear,
    with my headphones i could probably cover 3 ears .. lol
